seeing colors

I strongly relate certain colors with numbers, words, etc. and it's like ideas and abstract thoughts themselves have colors, shapes, and auras. Certain tastes conjure thoughts of seemingly unrelated things or places, the same every time. Similarly, if I go to those places, I am reminded of the tastes. I also have very strong emotional reactions to specific sensory input, like a taste, smell, or color. My memories are very intense and usually bring with them a "feeling" that reminds me of a certain shape, taste, color, smell, location, or random point in time.
I suppose I'll have to look into it more. I could just be imagining it all.
